ConnectTrenton.jpgYou are invited to the Connect Trenton Conference on Friday, May 30 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Edison State College to envision how the open exchange of data, resources and technology can better connect people in the City of Trenton.

All Trentonians including city stakeholders, community activists, government officials, education leaders, members of the business community and more are encouraged to participate in the discussion about how open data and information can be utilized to connect Trentonians and strengthen the City.

The Connect Trenton Conference aims to address four main areas using open data: Environmental Awareness; Sustained Community Collaboration; Flourishing Business Community and A Place to Plant your Roots. Speakers from Socrata, Digital On-Ramps, Culture Blocks and CamConnect will highlight ways in which an Open Data platform and API can help connect people to the opportunities that exist utilizing data in Trenton.

Connect Trenton Conference is the kick-off for a broader open data effort in the City of Trenton. Following the conference there will be regular meetings on open data as part of the Impact Trenton initiative of The Citizens Campaign.
